Escea’s design for this gas fire has eliminated the need for a flue, so set up couldn’t be easier. As this gas fire is zero rated, it can simply be installed straight into any timber-framed external wall or masonry cavity.

This fireplace adds a dramatic presence to any alfresco entertaining area, and provides a large cooking surface allowing you to enjoy BBQ cooking the way it was meant to be done, over the hot ashes of a charcoal or wood fire.
The EW5000 with its bold stainless steel front, presents a modern clean look that accentuates its wide aspect ratio. The stainless steel front reflects the colours, textures and shapes from surrounding to create a look that instantly becomes at one with your outdoor living space. As an alternative you can choose a fascia less look and by recessing the fireplace into the wall you have total freedom in the design of your outdoor area.
Build to last, the firebox is constructed entirely of high quality 4mm thick plate steel finished in metallic black. The EW5000 has been designed to maximise the air drawn through the fire, ensuring that the fire will burn at extremely high temperatures to minimise smoke.
This outdoor fire and barbecue has been designed for location within a non-combustible structure such as masonry, stone, concrete or brickwork.
COOKING PLATE
The EW5000 features a cooking plate which can be placed at three different heights to regulate the heat of the cooking surface. When not in use the plate can be conveniently stored, under the ash pan.

Infra-red heaters operate just like the sun - they warm surfaces, not the surrounding air, by emitting infra-red rays which gently warm each surface they touch, including you, just as the sun does. This means it is unaffected by influences such as air temperature or movement, and can be easily focused and directed to the precise location required. As it doesn't heat the air, the air remains fresh and invigorating. Infra-red heating can effect great savings in fuel costs.
THH Series HEATSTRIP: A high intensity electric outdoor radiant heater suitable for tough indoor and outdoor heating applications. Ideal outdoor, undercover applications include smoking or alfresco dining areas, patios, balconies or sidewalk cafes. Ideal indoor applications include spot heating in factories, showrooms, animal enclosures or any other indoor open areas.Similar to the radiant heat rays emitted by the Sun, a unique electric heating element emits rapid, even radiant warmth directly to individual people and surfaces below. Unlike traditional outdoor gas heaters, which aim to heat the surrounding air and can result in high temperatures close to the heat source and lower temperatures further away, the radiant heat emitted by the THH HEATSTRIP penetrates through the air to provide a comfortable, even temperature directly to people and surfaces up to 6 metres above.
